Unexpected Downtime | Posted on Wednesday, April 12, 2006 by wwq222 | | Sorry for the unexpected downtime the last few days. There was some confusion w/ my hosting provider, but it's all been worked out. | |
Half a Decade Old | Posted on Tuesday, November 1, 2005 by wwq222 | | Helpfulnotes.com turns 5 years old today. Man I'm getting old. For those of you who wonder where the Destinos Summaries went, they're under the Spanish section.

Altavista
Translations
- The Online Translator.
Although it doesn't do a very good job with grammar, it
translates from English to Spanish and Vice Versa, and
does a good enough job to let you understand the
sentence. However, since it translates word for
word, the grammar needs help, hence it isn't too much
help in essay writing.

Multilingual
Dictionaries
- Online dictionaries in English, Spanish, German,
French, and more. The site could be rather slow at
times, give it some time.

|
Destinos
Summaries
- Summaries of every Destinos episode that you'll ever
see. Best of all, they're in English.
As some of you may know, the old destinos summaries were taken down some time ago. However,
I found a new site, and this they're on my own server, so these are here to stay.

Spanish
Verb Forms
- My own list of all Spanish verb forms through the 1st
semester of Spanish 7/8. This list is constantly
being updated, so check back periodically.

Por
o Para?
- This is one of the biggest
problems for many Spanish students. This is my own
compiled list of when to use por and para. This is
constantly being updated, so check back periodically.

Basic
Spanish Words with Pronunciation
- Is it possible to make a worse looking website?
Most of the stuff here is quite useless, but they do
have English - Spanish online dictionaries, which are
always useful
Note: Due to filtering, you may not be able
to access this site from certain public computers

Spanish
Voice Synthesizer
- A very unique site, but it's relevance could be
challenged. If you type in a line, it will take it
and turn it into voice. You can choose the
dialect, speaking speed, and several other
options. Requires sound card and speakers.

|
The
Conjugator Tranier
- A good place to practice conjugating verbs in Present,
Preterite, and subjunctive. Also teaches where to
place accents (The count back 3 vowels rule won't work
past 2nd year.)
Note: Due to filtering, you may not be able
to access this site from certain public computers

Spansih
Web Dictionaries
- Contains lists of irregular and stem changing words,
links to web dictionaries, translators, and other
helpful resources.
Note: Due to filtering, you may not be able
to access this site from certain public computers
